Black Squirrel Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Pink Paisley: I am archiving this cache.

I think I got lucky. During the summer it is really hard due to tree cover - I have had to log a DNF for my own cache before now!. In the winter it is very exposed.

I will find a new site and place Black Squirrel 2 in the spring.

Thank you to all who have visited.

Will move Limeboy's Berlin Coin on to a new cache.

Geocache Description:

Small tupperware container. Using the rating system this comes out as a 2/3 but I've downrated it a bit because that seems right to me.

This is the first Letchworth Garden City Cache, (yes I know there are others in the area but this is actually in LGC). When looking for this look out for the black squirrels, the unofficial symbol of the town. Yes they really are black. It seems that there is little agreement about the nature of these animals. To me they seem to be slighter than the common grey with a less bushy tail.

When I placed this cache, I got a good signal within 5 feet with my GPS. You might not be so lucky.

When placed the cache contained the following:-

A pack of cards
A bicycle lock
A tub of bubble mixture
A stapler with staples
A pack of AA batteries (for obvious reasons)
A calculator

All of these items were new. The container is (I think) fairly well hidden.
