Geocache Description:

This cache was placed as a science/ecology project by a fifth grade class.

This is a great way to tie in ecology/global community/science. We are studying about the earth’s resources (renewable and non-renewable) and found the local area to be a great example. As the teacher I have also noticed that ‘our’ kids just don’t get outdoors as much as they used to. What a great way to encourage students to get outside… GEOCACHING!

If you look for this cache I encourage you to take your children, or tell a friend that has children.

I was going to call this cache, “Teacher Booty” and fill it with all the toys that I confiscate during class time throughout the year. Instead I will let the students make their own contributions.
