Geocache Description:

Nice Place with a great view over Locarno

I realized that there a just a few caches hidden in the Canton of Ticino. Therefore I decided to hide a cache at one of the places you should not miss if you visit the south of Switzerland.

This place located high above the Maggia Delta (some call it for whatever reason "Monkeys' Rock") gives you a great overview of that part of the Ticino, it is easily accessible by car (park at N46°10'16.5" E8°44'12.8") and your kids will love climging the rocks. Just watch them - some of them are quite high. Also don't try to find the cache by just following the arrow that your GPS shows - try always to stay on the hiking trails.

Also be always aware - this is not only a lizards' but also a snakes' paradise - so do not put your hands anywhere where you cannot see.
