Il luogo(di eccezionale bellezza) può essere raggiunto solo a piedi con una camminata di circa 15/20 minuti

The place (magnificent)is only 15/20 minuts walking from the car parking 30 km from "L'aquila" and 140km from Rome

Rocca Calascio si raggiunge percorrendo la statale 17 L'Aquila Pescara, al km 12 svoltare per la strada Provinciale 8A (indicazioni Barisciano, castel del Monte Calascio) dal paese di calascio seguire le indicazioni per Rocca Calascio, parcheggiata l'auto dove la strada è interrotta da una sbarra. Sulla sx inizia un sentiero che in 5 min ci porta all'inizio dell'antico borgo attraversato il quale proseguendo in salita si giunge alla Rocca, da dove una magnifica vista del Gran Sasso e delle vallate sottostanti corona la nostra camminata. Poco sotto la rocca vi è la chiesa di S.Maria della Pietà di forma Ottagonale risalente al XV secolo, Sulla sua sx in lieve discesa vi è una strada sterrata che porta dopo circa 300m ad un muro a secco di forma circolare ben visibile gia dalla chiesa. Sotto le pietre della parte del muro più vicine alla strada vi è la cache (un contenitore sorprese uovo di pasqua colo arancio)che contiene
1) Una spilla di Marhie Simpson
2) una chiave di color Viola
3) Un vecchio orologio benetton non funzionante
4) una moneta da £ 100
5) Un pupazzetto magneticho di SHREK
6) un biglietto di ingresso alla Torre degli asinelli di Bologna
7) Un biglietto alla Mostra sui Maya tenuta a Venezia 1998
8) Un Abbonamento giornaliero pista di sci passo lavazzè
9) Un block notes + matita

You can arrive in Rocca Calascio through the SS17 Aquila Pescara, at the 12th km go in SP8A (indications for Barisciano, Castel of Monte, Calascio) from calascio following the indications for Rocca Calascio, parked the car where the road is interrupted (slab). On the left begins a path in 5 min we are the beginning of the ancient village which continuing in climb it is reached the Rocca, from where one magnificent sight of Gran Sasso Mountains and the below valleys crown our walk. Under the “Rocca” there is the church of S.Maria della Pietà Octagonal shape to XV the century, On its left begin a little road andafter approximately 300m to there is a wall to dry of very visible circular shape you can see it from the church. Under stones of the part of the wall nearer the road there is the cache that it contains
1) One pin of Margie Simpson
2) one violet key
3) an old not working clock benetton
4) one currency from £ 100
5) a magnetic SHREK
6) a ticket to the Tower of the asinelli in Bologna
7) a ticket to the Exposition on the Mayan held to Venice 1998
8) block notes + pencil
