There is ample parking off the access road at (N43 47.702 W121 31.899).
This is a very special place; it will take you back in time. You may want to bring a picnic lunch or even try your luck at fly-fishing. The remains of this cabin were part of the original 1974 film set for Rooster Cogburn with John Wayne and Katherine Hepburn. This cache is accessible during the spring, summer, and early fall. It can also be accessed in the winter months depending on the depth of the snow. If you like to snowshoe or cross-country ski, this is a very good time to come. There is NO guarantee that you will find the cache, but you may luck out! The cache can be found in the "Back 40" among the wind fallen trees. The ammo box is located on the ground and is well camouflaged by natural materials. Enjoy this one and leave NO TRACE!
