Geocache Description:

This is a short multi-stage cache. The co-ordinates are for the start point. The cache is one of the "Blog Standard" series, a set of seventeen caches, each loggable finds in their own right, and each containing a clue to the location of an eighteenth. Links to the other caches in the series will be added as the caches go active.

The start point can be arrived at by train, bus or car. You will need to find the number of tracks currently passing through (there used to be many more). The current facility was rebuilt in 1927 as an acknowledgement of the town's importance to the railway. The number of tracks will give "a".
You will now need to head into town, along Queen Street, until you find Quay Road (alternatively, a quick pint of Old Speckled Hen/ glass of Chardonnay in "The Railway", then a trip out the back to the loo, and leaving by the rear entrance will take you in a straight line to the next clue). At N50 31.882 W003 35.977 you will find a very low bridge. What is the height limit? b'c".
You should then walk along the frontage of Tuckers Maltings . Mondays to Saturdays you can pay a visit and buy real ales from the Teignworthy Brewery. Past the end of the maltings is a fire hydrant sign with two numbers on. The upper is "d" and the lower "e". The sign is at N50 31.998 W003 35.936 but you shouldnt need it. You should now have a,b,c,d and e.
The cache is at N50 31.(d+e)(a*a)b W003 35.bc(b-c-a).
Take some bread to feed the numerous pigeons, swans, ducks, crows, gulls, robins. Sit down and enjoy the view. Beware passers-by.

Replaced 15/07/06 after, ahem, Council cut backs
