Geocache Description:

In the city of Shelby. Several cement steps leading up to the cache area.

This cache will bring you close to a lot of history about Toole County! Park at James A. Johnson Park. Great for a picnic and to let the kids play on nice equipment. You will have to cross the street and enter a marked yard with a sign that states the name of the building in the yard. The building is brick and on the corner of the street. The cache is located within the yard. We hope you will take the opportunity to experience the past of our area! There are some times that would be best to find this cache in order to take advantage of the historical feature here.
Sept.-April: Tuesdays noon-4pm
May: M-Sat. 1-4pm
June-August:M-F 1-5, 7-9 and Sat. 1-4pm
No need to worry about entering the yard, permission has been granted. Just make sure you see the sign stating the name of the building, something to do with history. Lots of fun items in the cache.
