Geocache Description:

This small cache should be a fun find. Originally members only to encourage more of you to join geocaching.com. They need more servers and more memory for their (our!) website. Opened to all on 6/8/05.

Cornell Plantations is an area of great natural beauty and serenity adjacent to one of America's most renowned university campuses. Plantations Road runs through much of the area, including the 150 acres of Newman Arboretum and Arboretum Meadows, the site of this quiet pond.  Parking a stone's throw away. The surrounding natural areas include 3000 acres of bogs, fens, gorges, glens, meadows, and woodlands.  No wonder so many caches are hidden here.
