This is my first cache which I have placed in the beautiful area of St Martha’s Hill. A lovely church dating back to Saxon times stands at the top of the hill commanding spectacular views of up to 8 counties on a clear day. Part of the hill is classed as a site of special interest due to a rare mixture of plant species and now more importantly because it is the home of my cache.
The co-ordinates are for the car park. From the car park make your way to St Martha’s Church. Within the churchyard you need to find neighbours “Hammy” and “Barney”.
The number of letters in the month that “Barney” died = A
The number of years between “Hammy’s” birth and death = 8B years
The final co-ordinates for the cache are:
51.13.AB3 N
000.31.BA1 W
The cache is a traditional plastic container with an assortment of goodies and a log book.
