Graculus: The clues to find the cache are no longer available and as the owners have not responded to logs about this or responded to a request to adopt the cache to a new owner I have no choice but to archive it.

This is one of our favourite walks, having visited this area whilst camping when we first got together in the late eighties.
We now live in Hampshire, having left Sunbury on Thames in 1999. We enjoy walking in the forest with our daughter and two cavalier king charles spaniels.
The Coordinates given above are for parking. This is outside the old station tea rooms.
Part of this walk takes you along the old railway track, closed in the 60's by Dr. Beeching. The new house on your travels is where the old railwaymans cottage used to be. This was demolished after a fire and only recently replaced with this modern building, causing a bit of a stir!!

You are best to keep to the tracks on this walk, as some area's of the forest may be BOGGY. Wellies may be needed depending on the recent weather.
It will take you about 1 hour (not including the cream tea!!)
The old station tea rooms are open 7 days a week 10am to 5pm.

**** Having read some of the posts over the months i felt that i should point any future cachers in the right direction (no pun intended) A few of you seemed to have taken my keep to the tracks remark to literally. There is no need to walk up and down the railway track or the hilly road more than once. You will walk from clue to clue and only from clue 5 will you be on a track that you have walked before. Hopefully this will help you all have a better walk as we intended. ****
