Geocache Description:

Hazelwood Park, Maplewood, MN
Park hours: 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset.

Original Hide: 04-03-2005
New Hide: 11-26-2006

This is my 3rd cache hide. I chose to use Hazelwood park because it's one of my favorite Maplewood Parks. The city uses it for their 4th of July fireworks display. They shoot the fireworks over the pond, which gives people an up close and personal view of them. Needless to say, the park is packed on the 4th.

The area around the cache site is a little swampy, so bring proper footwear. You'll be looking for a tupperware bowl in your standard geobeacon, the coordinates should get you there. Original FTF prize was a unactivated West Tennesse geocoin.

As an Update, As of November 26th, 2006, I replaced the missing container, it is in a slightly different spot at the same coordinates, hopefully it'll last longer this time. As such, I'm allowing previous visitors to log a new find if they wish.
