Rockwood Hall Cache Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

hikerguy1: We went to see if the cache was still there. Even brought along a new stocked cache in case original was missing. Problem was we could not reach the original cache site without going through a trail totally overgrown with poison ivy. We were surprised as these trails are generally well-maintained. We didn't want to walk through the poison ivy - and we don't want fellow cachers to do so either. So at this point we are archiving this cache. We will return in the late fall to see if cache site is accessible and search for the original cache then and perhaps reinstate it if possible. If it is really missing then unfortunately some TB's have permanently gone missing also.
