There was great festivity and rejoicing in the dusty, dreary
study rooms of the Vatican Archives when this previously
undiscovered document came to light.
Initial evaluations suggested that it was a Renaissance Italian
manuscript, circa 1499, containing coded astronomical
observations.
Unfortunately, more careful analysis of the ink, paper, and code
has since revealed that the document is an obvious fake. It could
only have been written long after 1499. Curiously, it seems to
contain detailed instructions for finding a hidden container
somewhere in Northern Florida.
