In Search of Jack and Margaret Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

Weary Banker & Bookworm: A bit sad to say Goodbye to this cache from 2005 but times have changed. When this cache was placed to commemorate the Official Opening of the new harbour by the Prince (whose name we dont mention) there werent any other caches in West Bay. Now, I cant find a place that I consider suitable in which to site a cache that I am happy with and that isnt within range of others.
The original place for this cache was subject to what could only have been malicious tampering as it was so far from the path that it was unlikely to have been found by chance. Questions had to be changed because of the seasonal storage of the boats on the harbour but ultimately it is the lack of a suitable spot for the box which is the reason for its demise.

Geocache Description:

This Cache is an incentive to visit the new Jurassic Pier at West Bay, Dorset which opened to the public in December 2004 and was officially opened on 8th March 2005.

PLEASE NOTE NEW LOCATION AND NAME - Aug 2021

The new pier is part of a sea defence project costing over £16 million. The project consists of a new and safer entrance to the harbour and the Jurrasic Pier just to the west, which protects it. There is wheelchair/pushchair access and seating along most of the pier. The Pier is 240 metres long; recessed lighting is included for evening and night visitors plus blue uplighting at all of the ladder accesses for boats in the outer harbour.

It is suggested that you use the Car Park on the new Eastern Harbour Wall,--- (turn left as soon as you see the harbour). You should manage this cache within an hour just, if you do not waste time but we would suggest that you take your time and pay for more parking. Enjoy the area and perhaps take some food/drink to the cache site as this will give you good cover.

You will need to visit new harbour/pier to answer the questions below.

A) "...rising xxxx sandstone at whose foot the sea endlessly frets". From the missing word take letters 5,6 and 7. Convert them ( A=1,B=2 etc)then add them together
B) Count the number of beans on the Eastern Wall . (Careful there is a sneaky one)
C) Joyce Seaman-Garey, who also spent many happy hours at West Bay, was 78 years old in 20--.
