Geocache Description:

An app.45 minute round trip over the fields where I used to walk my dog, Tess-Dog (hence the name of the cache!) It can get v.muddy in wet weather & it's unsuitable for push chairs, but your doggies will love it as theres plenty of room to run around!
I would strongly recommend wearing wellies for this cache, as the ground is only completely dry for about 3 weeks of the year!

***THE CACHE CONTAINS JUST A ROLL OF PAPER ON WHICH TO LOG YOUR FIND-PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING A PEN WITH YOU!!***

The above co ordinates are for the road to park your car, it is just off the B4245 between Langstone & Magor, to the East of Newport.Park anywhere along this road.

Outside number 125, look for the 'BT Square'.SID is over 0 & which other number? Answer = A.
EN124 is over what single number? Answer = B.

These 2 missing numbers should be put into the following co ordinates... N 51 35.957
W 002 53.A9B

When you get here, you will see a large tree stump, about 20ft high, directly in front of you, you will see a track leading down the embankment. To the left of you, how many wooden posts are sticking up out of the ground on the tarmac patch? Answer = C.
C is the missing number to the co ordinates for micro cache.

N 51 36.C0C
W 002 53.991

Follow the track down the embankment & across the fields.Take care, because although this is a public right of way, occasionally there are cows grazing in the fields, so make sure you have small children & dogs under control.
You are looking for a small black camera film canister. Once you have located it,log your find & replace it ready for the next cachers.

******Alternatively, if you don't want to get muddy, collect the clues, then drive down the A48 (towards Newport) before you get to the Coldra roundabout, you will see Hurrans Garden Centre, just past there on the opposite side of the road, you will see a lane with a footpath sign, take that path,& you can get into the fields that way*****

**Update**
Sadly, we had to have our lovely Tess Dog put to sleep on 14-06-06.She suffered from heart failure, probably brought on by the stress of our house move over to the other side of Newport.RIP Tess Dog. :(
