When university students in Halifax want to go sliding, there are 4 places that generally pop to mind: Citadel Hill, The Pit, Gorsebrook Hill, and The Motherhouse.

This sliding hill is behind Gorsebrook School, and another school is close by. So, if it is a school day when you plan to look for this cache, please do not go searching during school hours (a stranger wandering around the school area while kids are about could be misinterpretted, and we don't want to worry anyone). This is a busy area, so even on weekends there may be people around (including curious kids), so please be discrete.

The cache is a nano, so bring your own pen to sign the log. Hopefully it will be less prone to getting muggled than the film canisters that kept disappearing before it.

While this cache is meant to introduce you to a popular sliding hill, the cache will stay active all year round.
