Geocache Description:

This is an nut-jar cache just off the trail at Vasona Lake in Los Gatos, CA. The trail is paved, but you need to go over a small amount of bumpy terrain to get to the cache location.

We stashed this cache during a morning visit to the Los Gatos Creek trail and Vasona Park. We took advantage of the free street parking further down the trail, but you can also pay $4 to park in the official parking lot. The cache is a medium-sized nut jar. It has been camouflaged to prevent its discovery by non-geocachers; if you find this cache, please be sure to cover it up a bit before you leave. Contents include mostly kid-friendly items such as whistles, balls, and bracelets, as well as the log book.
