Allgemeine Hinweise:
Dieser Cache ist ein Postkarten-Cache, d.h. jeder Finder sollte eine Postkarte seines Heimats- oder Urlaubsortes mitbringen. Diese verbleiben im Cache als Andenken für nachfolgende Cacher.
Vor Beginn solltest Du das genaue Geburts- und Todesdatum von Johann W. v. Goethe ermitteln oder dich an vergangene Deutschstunden erinnern.
Zeitbedarf: 2-3 h (incl. Rückweg) mit Einkehrmöglichkeit ca. auf der Hälfte der Strecke zum Cache.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe wird Dich auf Deiner Suche begleiten. In welchem Jahr ist dieser Poet geboren (=A) und an welchem Tag im März gestorben (=B)?

3. Aufgabe:
Goethe hatte seinerzeit ganz andere Probleme zu lösen. Zumeist kam er in diese Gebiete nur zur Jagd oder zur Besinnung. Dennoch verraten diese „Fenster“ so manches, was für den weiteren Weg wichtig ist:

G: Anzahl aller photographierten Tiere im nördlichsten Fenster

Zu Goethes Zeiten gab es dieses Objekt noch nicht. Du bist jetzt auf 885 m Höhe. Wieviele Zinnen (= H) zählt man im Umkreis von 3 Meter? Auch auf 861 m Höhe ist diese Aufgabe, wenn auch umständlicher, lösbar.

Wieviele Schriftzeichen sind laut Fumio Saito nötig, um Goethes „Wanderers Nachtlied“ in Japanisch niederzuschreiben (= J)? Tipp: rein!
Falls du die Ruh über allen Gipfeln nicht auf japanisch lesen kannst (du solltest es zumindest versuchen), befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe dieses Punktes ein großer Wanderwegweiser, der dir auch weiter helfen kann:

Goethe liebte die Natur. Aber er liebte auch Charlotte von Stein. So führte er sie an einem warmen Augusttag die Treppen hinauf an dieses lauschige Plätzchen. Suche unten nach dem Eingang einer kleinen Höhle. Für den Cache findest du hier die Hinweise für die letzten Buchstaben:
K: Anzahl der Buchstaben des letzten Wortes der linken Tafel
L: Anzahl der Buchstaben des ersten Wortes der rechten Tafel
Nun hast du alle Informationen, die du brauchst.
Falls du alle Aufgaben richtig gelöst hast, ist die Quersumme der Summe von A-L gleich 25.

Da Goethe wahrscheinlich kein Freund von Ü-Ei-Figuren war (dies kann jedoch nicht mit 100%iger Sicherheit ausgeschlossen werden...), ist dieser Cache ein Postkarten-Cache, d.h. jeder Finder sollte eine Postkarte seines Heimatortes mitbringen. This Cache is a Postcard-Cache, that means each geocacher should bring one postcard of his home town or vacation place for the cache. This one stays in the cache for other cachers to look at.
Before getting started you should find out the exact dates of Johann W. v. Goethe’s birthday and his day of death.
Walking-time: Halfday-hike (including return way) with restaurant at about half of the way to the cache.
