A hike with great views of the Massanutten Kettle and the Shenandoah Valley. Altitude 2457 feet. A good double-find day with Kaylor Kache.
Enter the Massanutten development, at the main gate (across the road from WoodStone Meadows golf course). Proceed until close to the ski area, then turn right onto Del Webb Drive (when you reach the golf course). Stay on the road until you reach the top of the ridge.
The trail follows the ridge and has gentle grades. The cache is a big pill bottle and is about 35-40 feet off of the trail. Original contents are a log/pencil, a letter opener, two Geocaching tattoos, a National Guard pin, a star pin, a Cheerios penny, a golf ball, and a red clip.
