We discovered this new trail through an article in the Seattle P-I and have been dying to hike it ever since. The trail, history, and scenery was spectacular every step of the way.
This cache is located about 1.25 miles from the trailhead. This is a good place to take a rest before heading on to the other three caches. On the way there you will hike through a fairly recent clear-cut before reaching a viewpoint to the east. From here you will descend a bit and skirt the edge of Hubbard Lake before reaching the cache location. For driving directions to the trailhead please read the article.
