This cache is in a semi camoflaged Folger's Coffee container. The area is a day use only area and closes at 10pm. 1/2 mile of the trail/road goes through private land so please respect the landowner's wishes and stick to the road.
After the fires of 2003 I decided I wanted to go see first hand some of the damage. Since the O'Brien Creek area made the paper so much, I figured this would probably be a great place to get some photos. So in late October '03 I grabbed Bongo and my camera and headed up to the trailhead. Needless to say I was intrigued. Not only by the fire's damage--this area holds many surprises. The creek is very pretty and is music to the ears. Though fire-scarred the canyon itself is very beautiful and there are meadows with wildflowers in the spring. Rather than give away the rest of the surprises I suggest you just check out this cache.
I've been up there several times since and every time reveals more!
