Der erste echte Koblenzer Traditional-Cache befindet sich in einem kleinen Steinbruch.
Das Gelände ist teilweise etwas bröckelig, bitte gut aufpassen! Dieser Cache ist nichts für Kinder!
Um den Cache zu heben ist Trittsicherheit erforderlich. Spezielle Ausrüstung ist nicht nötig, achtet aber bitte immer darauf, dass ihr guten Halt bzw. etwas zum Festhalten habt. Zum Steinbruch selbst gelangt man auf Wegen, den besten Zugang zum Cache müßt ihr euch jedoch erarbeiten.
Der GPS-Empfang ist geländebedingt leider schlecht, nach 150 gemittelten Messungen (GPS & GLONASS kombiniert) wurde eine Genauigkeit von 1,7 m und eine Höhe von ca. 194 Metern angezeigt.
Dieser Cache ist gut mit dem Multicache "Roter Hahn" (GCJR6E) kombinierbar, zwischen Station 10 und 11 kommt man quasi an diesem Cache vorbei.
The first genuine traditional cache of koblenz is hidden in a small quarry. The area is partly fragil, please be carefully! Although not really dangerous, this cache is not recommended for children. To reach the cache slip resistance is necessary. Special equipment is not needed, however, please always makes sure that you have secure standing and something to hold yourself. You can reach the quarry on ways, but you have to explore the best path to the cache by yourself.
Because of the terrain there is poor GPS reception, after 150 averaged measurements (combined GPS & GLONASS) there was displayed an accuracy of 1,7 m and a hight of approx. 194 meters.
Tip: you can easily combine this cache with the multicache "Roter Hahn" (GCJR6E) because you pass this one between station 10 and 11.
