On a clear day...
... you can see the bay. While we were up here for a different cache, we took the opportunity to explore a section of this trail that we hadn't been on before. We got to this nice location where you could see the south end of the S.F. bay and decided to hide a cache.
Stage 1 is at the posted coordinates. At this location you will find an information sign. Use this sign to determine the final cache coordinates:
AB = The monetary amount on the sign.
DEFG = The year specified just after the (F) on the sign.
U = B+F
V = U+D
W = G+B
X = F+E
Y = E-W
Z = A+G

The cache is a big thermos container. Please re-hide the cache so that it isn't easily visible from the trail.
