Another Adirondack spot with a very high scenery to effort ratio. Fit hikers could bag it in about two hours, but who wants to hurry? If you have two vehicles, park one at each end of the trail and do the whole ridge, since it has a whole other set of senic views at the other end.
The cache is a 1 gallon screw top plastic container with a 4" opening. The contents are very heavily bagged to survive the spring snowmelt, in case the container doesn't seal adequately. They are

- "Conexant" ID badge neckstrap
- Keychain cap gun and caps
- Wind-up walking Santa-Claus
- Salamander that grows if it gets wet
- Small plastic model car
- Kids' party horn
along with the usual logbook, pencils and sharpener of course.
The cache is strategically placed in a rock crevice so it can't be seen from anywhere a hiker might reasonably stray, yet trivial to find if you look for it. It is less than 30 feet from the marked trail. Please re-hide in the same way. Also, please make every effort to allow it to continue to survive; if possible, bring some fresh ziplocs and make sure the log is at least double-bagged in good ones.
Coordinates were captured with 11 satellites in view and 5 metres estimated position error, so they should be pretty good.
