This cache is in a great family oriented park. It's one of a number placed here to get young cachers engaged in the sport or new cachers introduced. The walks aren't long, the terrain is not too challenging but the hides are good. It is an absolutely perfect spot to bring your whole team.
TRL comes to this park often and enjoys exploring it. Despite it's relatively small size, it has interesting diversity in its terrain - groomed park land, thick brush, swampland, forest, hills and brook (that with the right amount of rain becomes a rapid). This location is interesting as it is central to the park but I bet most people don't even know it is there.
The cache is a camouflaged, large (50mm) ammo can. It is placed in a traditional highlands hide style. There are a fair amount of thorns in the area so you might want to bring some gloves. Also wear boots as if you pick the wrong approach, you might get wet (although you should not need to).
The cache is well stocked at launch with holiday themed goodies. Please rehide as well for the next searcher to enjoy the hunt. And watch for muggles upon entry as this is a very busy park. Enjoy your hunt!
