Located on a Government cattle ranch. On a mountain with a 360deg view of Lowveld.
Entrance to the ranch at S 26 11.359 E 031 20.872 is a manned gate, access to which is controlled but allowed. You will have to follow rough ranch roads, a 4x4 being necessary if wet. There is a beacon near the cache with lovely views. We camped a few hundred meters lower down near the cache.
You may need to do some map research to find the ranch entrance. There are a number of possible ways to get to the entrance, depending on which direction you are starting from.
Although it is a cattle ranch there is a large variety of birdlife and a few small wild animals.
