There have been a few caches up this canyon but they are no longer
around. Tekka picked this spot because it is full of her favorite
things and it is away from the crowds of rock climbers so maybe it
will stay around for a while. The canyon is narrow so it might be
hard to pick up the satellites. This spot is a bit more open than
lower in the canyon but you may have to resort to Aim High's
technique of hoisting your gps up on a long stick to get a reading.
The coordinates listed are from a Garmin. The Magellan had a north
reading of 36.807
Feel free to take a badge and if you feel inclined you can leave
something in return.
Trail can be quite icy in winter so please be very careful. Ice
cleats would be very nice to bring up here on snowy days if you
have some. Cache placement was designed to be accessible even with
snow on the ground. Please don't tear the camoflauge off the top.
Cache is accessed thru a door on the south side.
If you haven't yet met Tekka in person then hopefully we will

You will find it very difficult to get a good satellite fix in
the deep canyon so find a nice comfortable log and sit a spell. Now
look north north east to a rock face. There is a dead tree leaning
