How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

I have placed a micro here as it is can be a very busy location and I believe a micro is less likely to go missing.

Please be careful here if you are caching with young children as this cache is adjacent to water and a high drop.

This cache is buggy friendly and is about 700m from the car park. Please bring a pen or pencil with you as there isn't one in the cache.

You will find a free car park at N52° 03.893 W00° 49.534. Walk north from the car park along the towing path.

The co-ordinates above will take you to an Interpretation Panel which explains the construction of the Iron Trunk on the Grand Junction Canal. If you read the panel, not only will you learn about the Iron Trunk but the panel will also explain about cattle creeps. Find the illustration of the nearest cattle creep on the panel; the cache is located at the far end from the one illustrated.

You are searching for the usual 35mm black film container.
