This cooking/recipe themed cache is hidden in Crow Hassan Park Reserve, my favorite of the Three Rivers Park District. Please bring a recipe in a ziplock or other very small item to trade.
The cache is hidden within 5 feet of the Summer Horse/Hiking trail, about 2.5 miles from the trailhead. It’s a beautiful walk through the woods along the river, or out across the prairie depending on which route you take. The cache is winter accessible, but the trails are NOT maintained during the winter months, so bring your snowshoes or wade through whatever snow accumulates. I would suggest printing a trail map from www.threeriversparkdistrict.org/parks/maps/Crow_Hassan_summer.pdf before heading to the park, as maps are not always available onsite.

Parking is free for passenger vehicles, but there is a fee for horseback riding.
