Geocache Description:

This is a fairly long hike no matter where you start and is usually wet along the trail. The trek is worth the effort.

Hidden away in the small corners of the state are some of the finest places to visit, this is just one of those.

This Cache is the type of Cache that I wanted to go find with a nice hike, good location, and interesting things to find. The location is best accessed from one specific direction, but locating that place is part of the challenge. I have found the best hunts have been where I take coords and just go for it. The most I'll say about this is to look for a 4-way intersection just SW of a small mountain pond. Won't give you the best parking, but it will point you in the right direction. Good Luck!

At the Cache location, there is certainly something to see that makes the trip worth the effort. I'll leave it up to the Cacher to determine what that is, and if I am justified. Please do NOT mention the location details in your log or it will be deleted.

There is no "First to Find" gift, instead, the cache is filled with a good supply of Hiking/Camping items. Basically, no McToys here, just good usefull stuff. As such, please trade in kind. The Cache is a .308 ammo box, so there isn't a lot of room. The Cache was placed with almost NO free space inside. (Yep, stuffed it to the gills with good loot!)

When returning the cache to it's location, be sure to orient the handle for the next cacher.

If you find the Cache, please let me know how you liked it. I have several other really great locations I want to try, but want to see how this cache is received before I plant them.

Please heed property owner's signs. While the 'trail' is an old road, motorized traffic beyond the last house is prohibited. Large deadfalls prevent 'drive-up' access without leaving the 'road' Doing so is to tresspass on private property as many signs remind you.

While accessable, I DO NOT recommend this cache when snow or ice is on the ground. Great during Foliage season. can be buggy in spring.

A Special thanks to Qor72 and Max for the assistance in setting this cache.
