Situé à une altitude de 926m, surplombant le village d'Itxassou, le
sommet du massif de l'Artzamendi se trouve presqu'exactement sur la
frontiere Franco-Espagnole, et offre par beau temps une vue
absolument magnifique jusqu'à l'ocean Atlantique (à 23km au
Nord-Ouest a vol d'aigle).
L'acces au site est relativement facile pour une voiture en bon
etat, et une bonne grimpette si vous décidez de vous y rendre a
pieds. Si vous choisissez de conduire, soyez prudents car la route
n'est pas large, et tres en pente: un depanneur mettra plusieurs
heures a vous atteindre!
La geocache elle-même se trouve au milieu d'un terrain rocheux tres
incliné, et tres exposé au vent, là aussi, soyez prudents!
Imprimez le panorama si vous pensez avoir besoin de l'indice! Vous
pouvez egalement vous referer aux deux photos "SPOILER" dans la
gallerie d'images, qui montrent la position exacte de la
cache.

Located at an altitude of 926m, close to the village of Itxassou,
the top of the Artzamendi lies almost exactly on the frontier
between France and Spain, and in nice weather offers an absolutely
breathtaking view down to the Atlantic ocean (at 23km North-West as
the eagle flies).
Access to this site is relatively easy, if your car is in good
working order, and quite a hike if you decide to go by foot. If you
use a car, use caution as the road is pretty narrow and steep:
breakdown service may take several hours to get to you.
The geocache itself is in the middle of rocky, steep terrain, that
is exposed to strong winds. Again, use caution!
Print the panorama if you think you'll be using the hint! You may

see the precise location of the cache.
