Fall Mountain Lookout is just South of John Day, Oregon and heads
the Bear Creek flats.
It has a good view of Little Canyon mountain, Mt. Vernon and a hint
of John Day as well as the Strawberries. Easy access most of the
time and good cross country skiing the rest of the time. As well as
for snowmobiles and snowshoe’s. Turn West at Starr Campground
on 395 and your 4 miles from the right parking spot. Park at the
lookout and stroll to the cache.
