Geocache Description:

Experience an unexplained natural phenomenon that defies the laws of physics.

“Explore Tabor’s Caves”, “The Amazing Caverns of Kitt’s Cave” and “Londonderry”. If you’re looking for any of these geocaches chances are you may travel over the hill, so why not take a couple of minutes to check out this cache.

The hill is located in Southfield; this is just one of many ways to get there:

If traveling Highway 1 between Saint John and Sussex take Exit 175 to Norton/Apohaqui. At the stop sign turn left onto Hwy 865 South. The hill is located on Hwy 865 South. After about 7-8 minutes you’ll approach coordinates [N 45° 35.812’ W65° 36.116’]. Ahead the road takes a right turn. The phenomenon that mocks Sir Isaac Newton’s theory is just around the corner. After making the turn in the road you will be on a straight stretch going downhill. Continue down the hill, past a right turn sign until you reach these coordinates [N 45° 35.581’ W65° 35.758’]. Check the rear view mirror for traffic behind you, stop your vehicle and put it in neutral. Magically and mystically you’ll begin rolling back up the hill, picking up speed.

To find the cache, continue traveling down (or is it really up?) the hill. There’s a small parking area on the left at the east end of the guardrail. Cache is located near the parking area. Cache container is a small lock n lock container covered in camo tape.

Original contents of the cache:

• Logbook with pen & pencil
• Package of Looney Tunes Comic Ball cards
• 6 piece ring set
• Batman toothbrush holder & faucet fountain
• Deluxe universal cell phone case
• Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figure – Donatello
• Hands free earphone with built-in microphone
• Carabiner sport watch
• Canada keychain with compass & thermometer
• 4 piece manicure set (with hard case)
• Mosquito head net

The magnetic effect is best experienced traveling in an easterly direction (towards Cassidy Lake). Enjoy defying gravity!!!
