Geocache Description:

Ol’ Capt. Ursa has gathered together a collection of doubloons to be traded with all.

Thought it would be different to try a themed cache. The theme is: coins or currency. The cache contains coins from 10 different countries to get things started. It would be great if coins, or currency, from other countries around the world could be exchanged. If not, try to trade items pirates would have hidden in a treasure chest. I’ve included a couple of “pirate-like” items as well.

Twas a stormy day when Captain Ursa Major sailed the good ship Constellation to Frying Pan Lake, deep in the heart of Rockwood Park. Led by 1st mate Ursa Minor the crew came ashore and hid the treasure. Like any buried treasure (a very small) X marks the spot.

Follow the Zoo trail until you see the Maryanne trail. Cache is beside this trail. Be aware of mountain bike riding muggles.

Cache container is a small treasure chest. GPS WAAS accuracy was 5m when the cache was stashed.
