Park at the Visitors centre, and follow the lane to the sign ‘Trans
Pennine Trail’, follow this along the dirt path until you reach
this location N53 26.418 W02 08.420. From here, follow the narrow
trodden path to reach the final destination. There are no trees, so
signals are excellent. Please don’t extract the cache until you
have checked both ways for muggles. The cache box is a large box so
there is lots of room for swaps and things. There’s a log book and
pencil for your lovely autographs. It can be muddy at times, so
wear sensible footwear. When replacing the cache, please make sure
that the covering item is in place and that the cache is securely
in place. The area floods a lot (hence the Boardwalk!) and the
cache could be dislodged and float away!
