Geocache Description:

The cache is part of the Hamlin Lake watershed and many creaks are bubbling up near the site of the cache out of ancient sanddunes. The nearest creak we have named "Carlsbad" in honor of our caching group.

The contents of the cache are items from Florida, Washington D.C., Michigan and Kenya. The search can be started either from Nurnberg Road or the Upper Hamlin Lake boat launch (a launch reachable only by small boats). You should be in full view and earshot of several creaks that appear out of the ground near the cache. In winter you might want to watch out for ice.
