Tifoon: Much of the greenery in a local park, a historic building, two unoccupied homes, several out-buildings, the cache location & the cache were destroyed in a fire. The fire (which he failed to report) was set by an idiot with a home-made mortar during high winds under extreme fire danger conditions. Cache is being archived as this is no longer a viable location. The good news? Quick action by our firefighters saved several homes.

Geocache Description:

This is an easy evening find with a theme. Please note: This cache was muggled and replaced. Adopted by "TIFOON" in 2006. Please be sure to rehide it thoroughly after a visit, both on top and sides.

In honor of Dr. Doolittle, both the books and the movies, we dedicate this cache to all the animals worldwide. This is a theme cache devoted strictly to small toy animals. Whether big “kids” or small, find your favorite animal here. To assure lots of trade variety, please keep the animal size to no larger than the palm of your hand. When you get to the cache site, park and take the main graveled walking trail. Find the secret path to the right off this trail, into the woods. Follow the path; THERE IS NO NEED TO BUSHWHACK! The path and your GPS will lead you to the cache. When you’ve found it, continue on down the path to a new spot on the lake.
