A fun hike in Big Cottonwood Canyon that has views, beavers and moose - what more could you want?
This cache has a theme of thing that light up (or glow) your life - so it is currently well stocked with flashlights and penlights. The cache is located in one of our favorite places up Big Cottonwood Canyon. The hike is about 1 mile with an elevation gain of 550'. Start at the trailhead for Willow Heights Trailhead (N 40' 37.821" W 111' 36.278"). Head northeast up the trail until the Beaver pond, make sure you turn around a few times to enjoy the view over Solitude Ski Resort. At the Beaver pond you can either cross the Beaver dam or go counter clockwise around the dam (much longer). The cache is west of the pond.
