Geocache Description:

To appreciat this cache fully, you need a topographic map called Lac Memphremagog # 31 H/1 1/50.000 using Universal Transversf Mercator- UTM. grid map. It should be printed since 1983 and read NAD 83 or (WGS 84 . You can set your gps and map datum to wgs 84 and position format to UTM/UPS.You may also get a trail map at the Tourist office in the Hotel de Ville building in Sutton. This map dosent have grid lines, but it shoes the secendary roads and old logging roads better. Many of the so called secondary roads are old but good logging roads. A bridge is out at N 45'06.259 W 072'27.170 You can park here near the bridge and cross on foot unless the water is high. walk along this road and go left at 45' 06.305 072'26.500. After 600 meters more or less go left again at 45'06.769 072'26.346. The cache is now about 2 km furthur. When gps is pointing to the right of the road and the cache is less than 200 meters away. you will need to bush whack. there are some blackberry bushes and dense woods from here to the cache. The cache is in a simi clear plastic Jar tied to a tree with a red ribbon. Contents, a tumbled crystal from the Cryatal mine. and the usual stuff. Please dont make this your last cache of the day, carry some water, maybe snacks. It took us about 4 hours and we logged over 7 km on my trip odometer. You dont want to spend a night on the mountian with no tent etc. This cache is called twelve zeros because using UTM it does have 12 zeros ie. The UTM Coords should read 18 T 0700000 5000000 that is the way my GPS converts them from Lat Lon. By the way you should drive to Dunkin and take the Reuiter Brooke road to where bridge is out that I mentioned earlier. Thanks Butter Nut.
