Geocache Description:

Have a seat and enjoy the courtside action.

This historic post-1906 arena used to regularly host matches in Court A. In contested action, volleys would be lobbed back and forth with vigor. Sometimes aces were served, sometimes the returns were out of bounds. In the end, someone won and someone else lost.Bring a pen. All-weather paper takes only ink.Nearby is the San Mateo County Historical Museum. There’s a trophy inside, but it’s a Heisman. Tuesday- Sunday, 10am to 4pm.Benchmarks: The dome ball is a benchmark, and there is also a bronze disk on the SW corner of the white annex building.
