You will be taking a long walk (about 860m from parking area) along
the scenic Grand River. Closer parking can be found near stage 1,
but I'll leave that for you to figure out if you want a shorter
walk. There are plenty of benches along the way if you get tired.
Walk until you get to the sign (N43° 22.495', W80° 20.044') close
to the Devil's Creek Falls. Read the sign to find out how many
metres the water plunges. The sign also explains why the area is
called Devil's Creek.
Let "A" equal the number of metres the water plunges.
Next, keep walking along the trail, past the scenic lookout
ramps to the ruins (N43° 22.513', W80° 19.697') of an old house.
Count the number of windows in both ruin structures here.
Let "B" equal the total number of windows in both
structures.
Now, calculate the final position of the cache as follows:
XXX = 471 + A
YYY = 756 + B
The cache is here:
N43° 22.XXX'
W80° 19.YYY'
The last few metres approaching the cache can be tricky. Be
careful. Please replace the rock(s) when putting the cache
back.
