This is a 1.7k hike from parking which reaches 110m of altitude, but it is very gradual: easy walk for children.
As a teacher of English it is fitting to have a cache that is all books. This was very hard because these books have great sentimental value to me. Bring your favourite book and pick up a book. I will be visiting regularly to get books to read. Park at St. Bridget's church in Chapel grove (Kingston Peninsula). To get here take a left once across the Gondola Pt. Ferry onto the 845. Just beyond the parking on the 845 there is a road (Island View) follow it to the top. Just past the last cabin at the top, it is white and green, there is an open field on your left with a run down church. Behind the outbuilding beside the church is a path that leads you to the lake. This trail has a black water pipe that keeps surfacing and will lead you to the lake. Once at the lake follow the trail around the corner and the cache is off the trail. Cache is 17 x 13 x6 inches and can handle large books. I have also left some extra large ziplock bags to protect the books.
