Geocache Description:

Very easy walk in a beautiful old country graveyard.

This cemetery is a good example of the many old graveyards found in this area. The stones are very old and there are some really unique ones. All of the property South is owned by Purdue University and a free permit is required to enter it. these can be obtained at the SEPAC office on US 50. The cache is a green ammo box. Several people have commented that the roads do not match the maps. The cemetary is on the north side of the Brush Creek Lake. There are a couple of ways to get around to it none of them are direct. Ask a local where Camp Holland Road is located. The lake and the old State developmental school is now the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center and sometimes has limited access from US 50. The simplest way to get into the area and stay away from possible military training activity is from the north.
