GC Das Meer von Wien
Na ja, vielleicht etwas übertrieben, aber: Den Neusiedler See südöstlich von Wien kann man durchaus so nennen. Und der Seewinkel ist wirklich toll, zum Sonnen, zum Surfen, zum Segeln, zum Radfahren, zum Weintrinken, einfach zum Geniessen. Der Cache ist für Radler gedacht, die eine schöne Tour von Neusiedl nach Illmitz machen möchten.

May be it's a little bit exaggerated, but you might call the Neusiedler See the Vienna Ocean. The area called Seewinkel is really great, for enjoying the sun, for surfing, for sailing, for cycling, drinking wine. This cache is made for cyclists and it leads a nice tour from Neusiedl to Illmitz.

Die Tour besteht aus 14 Stationen, die in beliebiger Reihenfolge gelöst werden können. Die Beschreibung beginnt im Norden und endet im Süden. Man kann also eine Tour von Neusiedl nach Illmitz und zurück machen. Es geht aber genauso gut auch umgekehrt, oder man beginnt in Podersdorf und macht eine Süd- und eine Nordschleife...es lohnt sich in jedem Fall.
Das Ziel findet man am Ende irgendwo in den Zitzmannsdorfer Wiesen.
Alle Wegpunkte und auch das Ziel sind übrigens auf zugelassenen Wegen erreichbar. Bitte beachtet die Gebote des Naturparks.
Verwendet werden UTM Koordinaten in WGS84. Für alle Koordinaten gilt: Die Zone ist 33T, angegeben werden nur der Rechts- und der Hochwert.
Einige Lösungswörter werden in Zahlen umgerechnet: dabei wird für jeden Buchstaben der Telefoncode bestimmt und die Summe dieser Ziffern gebildet.
Einen Taschenrechner sollte man schon benutzen, sonst wird's eine endlose Rechnerei.

Achtung: Der Cache wurde verlegt. Und so geht's: Vom berechneten Rechtswert muss 1597 abgezogen werden, vom Hochwert 4066. Der Cache liegt also etwa 4,4 km weiter südwestlich.

The tour consists of 14 stations, which can be solved in arbitrary sequence. This descrition starts in the north and proceeds southwards. Thus, you can start from Neusiedl and go to Illmitz or vice versa. Or you begin from Podersdorf and do a south and a north loop. Anyway it's worth.
At the end the cache can be found somewhere in the Zitzmannsdorfer Wiesen.
All the waypoints as well as the cache itself can be reached on authorized ways. Please respect the rules of the natural park.
All locations are expressed in UTM coordinates, WGS84. And for all coordinates the zone is 33T, we only will mention the easting and northing values.
Some riddle results are words, which have to be transformed to numbers: take the equivalent telephone code for each letter and add these values.
A pocket calculator is recommended in order to avoid boring calculations.
