Geocache Description:

This cache is located on top of a small hill at 130m. The hill is covered with forestry but there is a well trodden track up one side.

This cache is located facing West just below the summit of this small hill. It is covered by a stone and is a standard size tupperware/lunch box with a white lid.Inside you will find a shower cap, a pack of cards, a couple of keyrings, a whistle, a toy figure, a hand warmer, a reflective sticker, padlock and a badge amongst other things. There is only one track up this hill which is easily followed. The rest of the hill has heavy foliage overhead impairing the GPS reception on wet days. The track up leads from South to North off of the 'Sligo Way'. OSI Sheet 25 is a must on this to ensure your way back out again if reception is poor.

This location is visited at Dawn on Easter Sunday ever year by the local people to celebrate Mass and welcome the rising sun.

Enjoy the view!
