Ein Multi-Cache am Rande des Jurasüdfusses. Der Ausgangspunkt befindet sich bei der Ruine Balm. Das Terrain hat ausserdem einen Geologischen Wanderweg und
Klettermöglichkeiten zu bieten. Auch eine Grillanlage ist vorhanden (Muss aber reserviert werden)
Die im 11. Jh. errichtete Grottenburg, ist die einzige dieses Typs im Kanton Solothurn. Vor einer Halbhöhle mit einem Innenraum von Rund 20 x 6 Meter (Breite x Tiefe) wurde eine über 2 m starke Mauer erbaut. Sichtbar sind Reste der Hauptburg, Wirtschaftsbauten und des Aufgangs..
Die Ruine ist zu jeder Jahreszeit begehbar. Einen tollen Aussichtpunkt gibt es bei Station 1: N 47° 15.336 E 007° 33.307
Parkiere bei den folgenden Koordinaten: N 47° 15.345 E 007° 33.390. Suche nach einem schmalen, nicht ganz ungefährlichen Grat. Achtung: Bei Nässe: Rutschgefahr! Es hat aber ein Geländer, woran man Halt findet. Bei Station 1 (N 47° 15.336 E 007° 33.307) musst Du in die Ruine hinein gehen, und von Innen her die Durchgänge und Fenster zählen, welche noch komplett vorhanden sind.

| A multi-cache at the edge of the Jura south foot. A cache part is at the ruin Balm. In addition the terrain has to offer a geological moving way and climbing possibilities. Also a grill plant is present (but with reservation only).
The ruin is accessible at each season. There is a wonderful point of view at station 1: N 47° 15.336 E 007° 33.307
The in 11th century established Grotten-castle, is the only one of this type in the canton Solothurn. Before a half cave with an interior of round 20 x of 6 meters (width x depth) a over 2 m strong wall was built. Visible are the remainders of the main castle, restaurant economics and the stairway.
Starting point (parking lots): N 47° 15.345 E 007° 33.390. Search for a narrow, not completely harmless burr. Note: On wet stones: Slip hazard! It has however a railing, that one finds stop. At the station 1 (N 47° 15.336 E 007° 33.307) you must go inside the ruin, from there you have to count the passages and windows ago from the inside, which are still completely present.
