Olga Lake Traditional Geocache

While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. We feel that this cache has been disabled for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable for the area, and thus I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Geocache Description:

This cache is West of Cadillac around the Olga Lake area. Terrain is relatively flat, but sections of the 2-track could flood out seasonally; road coming in has some rough areas but nothing too major. If you drive on the right road you can get VERY close to this cache. It's not located far off the 2-track so it's easily accessable if you're not up for a hike through the woods. :-)

This is a large plastic 4 1/4 gallon green bucket with lid. This cache is filled with goodies including a special First Finder's prize, 4 cook books, a plaid purse/cosmetics bag, fishing line and sinkers, a small wind chime, a baggie of antique/old buttons, some assorted kids' toys and trinkets, and other fun stuff. There is also a log book in here along with pens so please sign, date and leave a message for the next geocacher. If you are going to attempt this one, bring bug spray! :-)
