Geocache Description:

A small cascading style waterfall.

This cache is part of a larger series of waterfalls that we have put together in "The Falls Tour:"

The Silver Creek waterfall is series of small cascading waterfalls. The final part of this waterfall actually is situated under the bend in the road. A waterfall starts it's descent north of the road to continue to cascades down through beautiful brick & stone arch supporting the roadway. Take a few minutes and follow the path down to view the bridge and falls.

As you go in search of this cache. The first small cascading waterfall along the creek can be seen on as you climb the path in search of the cache.

Due to the closeness of Snow Creek Falls (North and West), we have decided to make these 3 waterfalls part of a smaller Multi. Note: This cache is still part of a larger multi for The Falls Tour

The mini Multi is under the name "The Tree" Waypoint GCJERW . This was done to encourage everyone to get out and walk one of this scenic section of the Bruce Trail and Bennett Side Trail. From cache to cache this trail is approximately 2km round trip. Coordinates that would have been on the lid of the Silver creek falls are N43 41.283.

In order to find "The Tree" you will need to find both
The Falls Tour: Snow Falls North, Snow Falls West (Waypoint: GCJERF) and The Falls Tour: Silver Creek (Waypoint: GCJER5). We have posted a set of North and West Coordinates on each lid. Once you have collected both sets of coords. You can then go out and get "The Tree" on your return walk to your car.

Due to tree coverage your GPS may jump all over the place. Our final reading put us at 15 feet from the cache and the GPS was sitting on top of the cache. Res2100 has kindly offered us a second set of coordinates for this cache when he did the maintenace on it for us this fall. N 43° 41.503
W 79° 58.222.

We hope you enjoys this pretty little waterfall and take advantage of the walk to Snow Falls.

Exercise caution when parking and walking along this road as traffic does move quickly.
