The original cache mysteriously disappeared complete with Travel Bugs, then just as suddenly reappeared a few days later. So I thought it would be wise to move it to this new, less public location.
The intention is to provide temporary rest and comfortable accommodation to Travel Bugs arriving from other airports, and for those wishing to leave via Southampton Airport. There is a log in the cache, so those without Travel Bugs are welcome to log a visit . The location is fairly scenic and is worth a visit., it is also within walking range of another cache, “Telegraph and Observer”

PLEASE LEAVE ONLY TRAVEL BUGS DESTINED FOR OTHER AIRPORTS. (No other items, or swaps please, sorry !)
OR
COLLECT INBOUND BUGS ARRIVING FROM OTHER DESTINATIONS. Please check that they are incoming, and wish to visit the UK, and are not intending to depart !
The cache is a small ammunition box, if it gets popular, I will replace it with a large one.
The cache is 5 or so minutes by car from the airport.. It isn’t a very long walk (From the suggested parking .16 mi) to the (hopefully) easily found cache.
It should be possible, if spooky (and not at all recommended) to visit after dark.

If you enter your visit and Travel Bug in the Log Book, and describe where it is going, it will help other visitors.
The cache is in a public place, please try not to be observed collecting or depositing items. Please carefully re-cover the cache when you are finished. Thanks.
