Aerial Views Traditional Geocache

This cache is located on Cleeve Hill, near Cheltenham. On the top
of the hill is Cleeve Common which has excellent views towards the
Severn Valley and the Malvern Hills to the South, West and North.
This is one of the highest points of the Cotswolds at over 300m,
and overlooks the Severn Valley. It is recommended to walk around
the common to make the most of the views. The aerials are visible
from a great distance away when approached from the Severn Valley.
The common is a popular area for locals, especially kite owners
when there’s a breeze! Recommended parking is at
N51°55.303’ W2°00.612 which is directly in front of the
aerials. The cache shouldn’t be too difficult to find, as
it’s my first cache placement, and being about half a mile
from the parking. It is reasonably easy walking and the common does
join up with the Cotswold Way footpath should you wish to go
further a field. Please note, it is not in the dry stone wall (as
reccomended by cache setup rules) The cache itself is a 2L plastic
box in a black bin liner. Initial contents are as follows: IOW sand
keyring Whooppee cushion Box of crayons Little book of txt messages
Toy Knife (plastic with retracting blade – quite safe!)
Vibrating sheep keyring Dolphin keyring/bottle opener Also starting
out his journeys is Tim The Turtle TB, who is joined by a couple of
other TB’s I’ve just picked up.
